Effects of the War on Canada
The war had the most significant impact to all of the citizens that lived in occupied territories or disputed zones, wherein lots of battles occurred. These people had lost their homes and families in some cases and were reduced to poverty. Even though this distant war was happening on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean, it still had many influences on society back in Canada, and brought with it tough decisions in how the country would be run. The war had a large impact on the type of society that we live in today, as its effects are long-lasting.
